Kim De Serpa for Supervisor

October 3, 2024, Santa Cruz County.  A diverse group of Aptos residents announced today that they are endorsing Kim De Serpa for 2nd District Supervisor in the November 5th election. 

“Throughout District 2, many roads need immediate repair.  Kim will prioritize road maintenance and focus resources for Public Works where they are needed most,” said Casey O’Brien, former Principal of Aptos High School..

“Affordability affects everyone in our community from college students, to young workers, families and seniors.  As a medical social worker, Kim works daily to help people with housing and other essential needs.  It’s time to put someone with real-world experience on the Board of Supervisors,” said Jane Barr, Affordable Housing Developer 

“Kim understands that she works for you–the taxpayers in the county.  She has diligently overseen a $330M budget for the PVUSD and will bring a sharp eye to county spending to eliminate waste, duplication and bad policies,” said Jeff Ursino, past President of the PVUSD Board of Trustees.

“I am overwhelmed and gratified by the support from so many of Aptos’s leaders.  I will represent all the residents of the 2nd District to improve the lives of all who call this wonderful place home,” said Kim De Serpa, candidate for Supervisor in the 2nd District.
